Management Biography  
  Dinesh Katiyar - CEO  
  As CEO, Dinesh is responsible for leading Small Device in right strategic direction to position SD as preferred porting partner in mobile value chain. Prior to Small Device, Dinesh was associated with the Mobile Devices Software Strategy group in Motorola, where he focused on next-generation software. Prior to that, he consulted with several early stage companies and venture firms. He was also the founder and President of iLeverage, an enterprise software company that was acquired by Epiphany (EPNY) in 2000. He was instrumental in raising capital for iLeverage, in determining its business and technical strategy, and in its acquisition. Dinesh has a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in India.

  Dikshant Dave - COO & Founder
 
  The visionary who simply goes by the name 'Dave', the Chief Operating Officer of SD, is key to SD's focuses on operational responsibilities as well as helping shape and execute SD's overall strategic plan. A veteran in Masters in Technology, Dave has detailed exposure to mobile gaming arena since the time mobile gaming was at its embryonic stage. He emphasises on major partnerships and international growth. Creating new avenues of growth for SD and appropriate technological investments are foremost on his agenda. Throughout his career Dave has consistently shown an ability to balance the strong elements of his scientific background with SD's broader business strategies. He beget's to Small Device a depth of experience in developing and executing strategic plans for its wireless technology. Prior to Small Device, Dave founded Grey Matter India (GMI), a leading Indian software based solutions firm in 2000. A renowned speaker in Indian & International forums, Dikshant has penned and presented number of papers towards global summits

  Subrata Mitra - Chairman
 
  Subrata was the founder and VP-Engineering, Firewhite, Inc., a developer of Enterprise-class infrastructure solutions designed to manage mobile applications and mobile devices such as those running Palm-OS or Pocket PC. Prior to Firewhite, Subrata served as President, CTO and Founder of Enterprise Component Technologies (ECT), Inc. ECT enabled users to interact with business processes embedded in software components. This allowed systems analysts to better define large-scale enterprise software systems-a problem sometimes referred to as "gap analysis". ECT was a pioneer in the use of solution templates for scenario analysis. Previously, he worked at IBM's prestigious T.J. Watson and Santa Teresa Labs; at the latter he served as a lead architect for IBM's OOAD tool, called Dynamic Designer. In that capacity, he represented IBM on international standards committees for object-oriented analysis and design. Separately, at Andersen Consulting, Subrata helped set standards for component-based software. Subrata holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and is the author of 8 successful patent applications. Subrata holds a B.Tech. in Computer Science degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, India.

  Shrini - VP Marketing
 
  As VP Marketing, Srini is responsible for the full range of marketing and commercial activities including brand, product development, content management and Partner Networks. He sets up the marketing processes and systems that incorporate business intelligence, information systems and strong customer relationship to improve predictability and performance of the company. This is in addition to creating a consistent brand identity and message that pervades all aspects of the marketing effort across regions, market and technologies. Building on his day-to-day experience with SD's clients, Srini has honed his management skills through entrepreneurial endeavors and education, as he earned a Masters of Business Administration from a reputed Indian B-School

  Goutam Dan, Chief Architect
 
 

Goutam started his career as a Graduate Engineer trainee in the design and development department of HCL Ltd.

Goutam retains 16 years of an expansive exposure in the development of embedded systems, enterprise applications and software products. Prior to SD, at Tavant Technologies, Goutam worked as Senior Technology Lead, developing web based applications for enterprise users, using J2EE technology suite. Goutam has also worked with well-known International and multinational organisations. At Firewhite Incorporated, USA based company, as a software architect, he lead team of engineers during the designing and development of the product. He was associated with Modi Xerox Limited for eight years and held important positions - Senior Engineer, Design and Development and then Senior Manager, Design and Development.

During his tenure with Modi Xerox he has tucked into his belt various achievements such as bagging the "President's Gold Medal" for developing a photocopier which gave a big impetus to the sales of the company and also leading the Modi Xerox design and development team to win the "Best Project in Technology Absorption Category" conferred by DSIR, Govt. of India.

He has also been part of technical team at Siemens Ltd, where he worked in the capacity of Senior Engineer, Process Engineering

  Dayanidhi M G - Delivery Head
 
  Dayanidhi has accrued 15 years of experience in the software industry playing varied roles as a developer, Project Manager, Program Manager, Vice President and Business Unit Head in different start up and established software companies. He has worked in the areas of Mathematical Modelling and Simulation, Embedded Systems, Enterprise Solutions, Content Management and Learning Solutions while handling clients spread globally. He has managed big teams comprising of about 100 people, working on several large projects including enterprise solution, distributed web applications and product development. In his previous assignments, he has worked closely to manage partnerships for his companies with the likes of Microsoft, Oracle and Sun Microsystems.

With a strong focus on project and delivery management through out his career, at SD, Dayanidhi plays the role of Delivery Head being responsible for execution and successful delivery of projects. Under his leadership, project teams constantly strive to improve the project execution and delivery processes to benefit both SD and its clients. Dayanidhi holds B.E. in Computer Science and MBA from a reputed Business School in Bangalore, India.
